APPTIUM Technologies is a leading provider of digital commerce solutions. We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the product management team and drive product strategy. This role will report to the senior leadership team and directly engage with users / customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead product management team; coordinate with design, development, and support teams to execute product roadmap and corral team around a common vision.
  • Shape product strategy and prioritization by weaving together understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, design thinking, technology best practices, business strategy, and persona / end user behavior.
  • Conduct market research to inform and maintain product competitive positioning and market growth strategy.
  • Maintain product roadmaps for internal and external distribution.
  • Oversee product documentation and training efforts.
  • Represent Apptium as a product SME and evangelist in various channels including trade shows, public speaking, webinars, and customer workshops.
  • Support marketing and sales enablement efforts via product marketing campaigns, sales collateral, demo support, proof-of-concepts, and RFP’s.

 

Job Requirements & Preferences

  • At least five (5) years of experience in B2B product management (or equivalent role), SaaS / PaaS organizations preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or technical field.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Hands-on experience with product lifecycle from ideation and product/market fit to launch, growth, and sunset.
  • Strong B2B business acumen – familiarity with e-commerce, channel sales, telecom, IoT, or cloud a significant plus.
  • Technical acumen – experience working on or familiarity with PaaS, containerized architecture, information architecture, strategies to minimize technical debt, API orchestration, REST APIs, etc.
  • Experience with agile SDLC including interfacing with design and development teams, sprints, releases, and clear understanding of the role of product in the SDLC.
  • Experience creating functional and technical documentation including Product Requirements Document (PRD), sequence / UML diagrams, functional architecture, storyboards, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testable success metrics.
  • Strong oral, written, and formal presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple ways to all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative market and competitive research.
