Description:

The Meat Cutter is responsible for the breakdown, preparation, and presentation of a variety of fresh meat cuts. They will also play a key role in providing exceptional Customer Service to our valued Guests and safeguard the profitability of our meat department.

What you will bring:

Two years previous Meat Cutting knowledge and experience.

Exceptional knife skills.

Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break – we work on the floor, and alongside our team.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

What you will do:

Model & provide exceptional Customer Service.

Safely and efficiently break down sub-primals into various cuts of meat according to our high standards.

Prepare fresh ground meat blends and oven ready products using our signature recipes.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.

Rotate stock and ensure timely restocking of the meat display case.

Assist customers in selecting the perfect cut of meat for their needs, offering expert advice on preparation and cooking methods.

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with Guests and Team Members.

Help other Team Members in the department.

Communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, & Store Leadership.

Adhere to all Plum Market policies and standard operating procedures.

Compensation details: 19-22 Hourly Wage
