Job Description:

JohnHart is seeking a talented and motivated Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, along with experience in working with Twig templating and minor exposure to PHP. You will collaborate closely with our back-end developers and UI/UX designers to create seamless, user-friendly web applications that provide exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, JS and jQuery.
• Implement dynamic components and interactive features that enhance user experience.
• Utilize Twig to create reusable and efficient front-end templates.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Integrate front-end code with back-end logic, including basic PHP integration where necessary.
• Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and share knowledge with the team.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end templates with server-side code.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including jQuery).
• Experience with Twig templating: Ability to create reusable and dynamic templates in Twig.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and best practices for web development.
• Basic experience with PHP: Ability to integrate front-end code with back-end logic and troubleshoot minor PHP-related issues.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Strong knowledge of browser developer tools for testing and debugging.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries like Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience with UI/UX principles and collaboration with design teams.
• Experience working with projects created in Figma.
