Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ansul Restaurant Fire Suppression Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting, servicing, and installing Ansul fire suppression systems in commercial kitchen environments. The role is crucial to ensuring the safety of restaurant facilities by preventing and controlling fire hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of Ansul fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens to ensure they meet code requirements and are fully operational.
  • Installation: Install new Ansul systems in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, addressing any issues related to components or performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all systems meet local, state, and federal fire codes, including NFPA and insurance requirements.
  • Documentation: Complete accurate service reports, inspections, and recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
  • Customer Service: Educate clients on the use and maintenance of fire suppression systems, and provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to urgent service calls and provide immediate support to resolve fire suppression system issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification in Ansul fire suppression systems is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire suppression system installation, inspection, and repair.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 17A and NFPA 96 standards.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
