General Purpose of the Position:

The IT Manager will be responsible for the administration of Information Technology & Support for all six Lukjan (and affiliate) locations. The position is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's IT operations, systems, and infrastructure. The primary responsibilities of the IT manager include strategic planning, team leadership, resource management, project management, IT operations and support, and security and risk management. The manager will work closely with stakeholders across different departments to understand their technological needs and develop solutions that meet those requirements. The position will manage the IT process and relationships through the coordination of projects, handle budgeting and procurement, ensure the reliability and security of IT systems, and provide guidance and support to maintain a robust technology infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: contribute to the development of corporate IT initiatives and projects that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. Assess technology needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and plan for the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Leadership: provide guidance for IT planning with Lukjan management to oversee IT projects from initiation to completion. Define projects and monitor projects through coordination with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Responsible for coordinating change management and stakeholder communication.
• IT Operations and Support: ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services. Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, including system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. The coordination of IT support services, handle incident response and problem resolution, and monitor system performance to minimize downtime and disruptions. Act as the primary IT support contact for employees.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Support: maintains software/hardware Licenses and agreements; collaborate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with external service providers. Work with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and senior management, to understand business needs, prioritize IT initiatives, and ensure alignment between technology and organizational objectives.
• EDI Oversight: securely receive and transfer data between different trading partners. Including checking the quality of EDI programs, enhancing EDI processes, and customizing them to fit within the company’s business systems.
• Regular travel between all locations to manage and support IT operations at all facilities.
• Other IT duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Programming or application development experience
  1. (MicroFocus/ACUCOBOL would be preferred but will train a candidate with a strong desire to learn COBOL)
• Intermediate to Advanced Understanding of Windows Based Operating System
• Intermediate to Advanced Understanding of PC Applications support in a network or cloud environment.
  1. Basic to Intermediate Understanding of Windows Networking, Internet and Hosting solutions
• Cybersecurity knowledge and internal networking assessments.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in an IT related field with 7-10 years of progressive IT management experience. Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems and issues. High level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to employees, management, and corporate personnel. Above average written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of EDI (X12: 810, 850, 855, 856) and VAN operations. Project Management Experience (PMP training preferred).

Annual salary: $90,000 - $125,000
