Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Supervision:
    • Supervise and support radiology staff, ensuring efficient shift operations and task delegation.
    • Coordinate departmental staffing and maintain workflow organization.
    • Act as a liaison between staff and the Radiology Director, communicating departmental needs and updates.
  • Clinical Duties:
    • Perform a range of imaging tests, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, DXA, Mammography, CT, OR Imaging, and PACS as needed.
    • Oversee quality control daily, ensuring high standards in all procedures and equipment use.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Manage inventory and departmental supplies, making necessary orders to ensure resources are available.
    • Collaborate with the Radiology Director on shift activities and daily operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Education & Certification:

    • Certificate and/or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
    • ARRT(R) certification (additional certification in CT or Mammography required).
    • Eligibility for Vermont radiologic technologist licensure.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiology.
    • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in a union setting.
  • ARRT certification in both CT and Mammography, as well as radiography.
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR and Visage PACS systems.
