Responsibilities:

o Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students

o Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student

o Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups

o Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress

o Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

o Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development of IEP goals

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

o Masters degree in communication disorders from an accredited program

o Current IL Speech Language Pathologist Licensure

o Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred

o Prior experience in a school setting preferred

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

o Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

o Strong organizational and time management skills
