We are looking to hire a Dental Hygienist who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. This position is based out of our St. Paul location.

Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates is an American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Certified specialty dental office for infants, toddlers, big kids, pre teens, and teens with locations throughout the Twin Cities including St. Paul, Fridley, North Oaks, and Eagan. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Someone with an active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to grow.
  • Passion for dentistry and working with kids.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comprehensive preventive care visits including dental cleanings and calculus removal.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records.
  • Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene techniques.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care.
  • Uphold infection control and safety standards to create a comfortable and secure environment for patients and staff.
