Coast to Coast Commercial and affiliated entity Elevated Restaurant Group are licensed franchisees of Sonic Drive-In and Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurants. As we continue to expand throughout the Southern California and Phoenix markets our growing company is looking to add great people to our team wanting to start a career in this fast-paced and fun environment

As the Development Associate for Coast to Coast Commercial, you will work with the real estate development team in their pursuit to find the best real estate for our unique brands, and assist in the ground-up development of these projects from start to finish. It will be your responsibility to help coordinate between municipalities, contractors, and other industry professionals, while helping manage the project budget and timeline.

Duties and Tasks…

  • Providing general administrative and clerical support for the Real Estate Development department.
  • Assist in providing due diligence, entitlements and permitting for each project.
  • Assisting in development and management of overall project schedule, budget and financing.
  • Assist with analyzing potential development sites.
  • Evaluation of financial feasibility and preparation of underwriting and finance plans for development.
  • Assisting in coordinating third-party consultant project team. s
  • Assist in preparing LOI’s, Proposals, and Purchase and Sale Agreements
  • Assisting in picking up plans, and project submittals of plans at required jurisdictions (i.e. City Hall, Health Department) (some driving may be required).
  • Assist in working with lenders and escrow for closings.
  • Assisting project close-out requirements with contractors and Lenders.
  • Additional projects, initiatives, and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications...

  • Thorough understanding of MS Office and Google Workspace, and proficient knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Ability to work successfully both independently and with others, building professional working relationships with co-workers, non-profits and service partners that are based on mutual trust and respect.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English), allowing for clear and succinct communication in a variety of settings (phone, in-person and email), and with people of various backgrounds and levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to learn new technology and new concepts easily when tackling problems and assigned tasks, including digital tools and programs, industry lingo, and industry knowledge.
  • A strong customer focus, with dedication to meeting the expectations, needs and requirements of internal and external partners, residents, and community members, successfully gaining their trust and respect.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in the real estate, finance, or construction industry, focused on commercial or retail development, brokerage, project management, asset management, or financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with commercial development preferred.
