Sheetmetal Foreman

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products using tools such as shears, brakes, welding equipment, and riveting machines.
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet safety standards.
• Repair or replace damaged sheet metal components.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role.
• Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera or HeavyBid.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish, including project scheduling.
• Knowledge of using an ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits.
• Experience working on construction sites and understanding construction contracts.
