Career Strategies is in search of an Experienced Leasing Specialist for a community in Owings Mills, MD.

The Leasing Specialist should possess exceptional customer service skills and be able to offer excellent assistance to all residents, visitors, and vendors. We are looking for someone who is highly energetic, has a positive attitude, has great communication skills, and is a people person.

· Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

· Location: Olney, MD, 20832

· Hourly Pay: $17-$18/hr.

Responsibilities:

· Greet all prospective residents and responds to ALL phone/internet leads

· Qualify the prospect (Ex, date of move, budget, number of adults moving in, income qualifications, etc.)

· Greet Residents and Visitors

· Assist with On-Site Relations

· Conduct follow-up phone calls

· Comply with Fair Housing Laws

· Communicate with current residents/vendors

· Submit work orders for current residents.

· Assist with Resident Events and After Hours

· Lease up Vacant Apartments

· Tour Property/Model or available homes with prospects

· Communicate with other property roles on site (Property Manager, Assistant Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Technician, Groundskeeper)

· Other Clerical Duties as needed: Data Entry, Filing, Faxing, Emailing, etc.)

Requirements/Skills:

Hud Paperwork Specialist 

· High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent

· Apartment Leasing experience (Affordable Housing and Recertification experience is a plus)

· Customer Service experience

· Sales experience

· Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge

· Yardi software experience (similar is a plus)

· Outbound/Inbound call experience

· Outgoing, highly reliable, and professional appearance

· Ability to problem-solve and multi-task.

· Willingness to learn
