practice with 11 providers and 5 office locations in NJ. Our dynamic and busy practice takes
pride in our exceptional patient care and familial work environment for its staff. We are looking
for a hard working individual who wants to join our team in the treatment of orthopedic, podiatry
and pain management patients.
Job Description: We are seeking a full time New Jersey licensed X-ray Technologist who will be
able to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations of patients (mostly adults) for the purpose
of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness.
**Candidates will be applying for our Clifton and West Orange Locations.
Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to standard protocols.
- Prepares patients for procedures providing instructions to obtain desired results, cooperation, and minimizing anxiety.
- Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation, such as positioning and technique.
- Maintains x-ray quality control testing, room cleanliness after exams and daily procedure log.
- Maintaining patient charts, logging data into patient information systems, and updating file systems for tests performed.
- Perform high-quality x-rays on all patient types and age groups, under the guidance of a physician and according to pre-established standards and protocols.
- Assist with medical assistant tasks such as managing patient flow, taking patient vitals, and triaging new patients
- Assisting physicians and physician assistants with patient care
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Radiology program
- Licensed by NJ State DEP
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Active and current New Jersey State License
- Maintaining technical competency through continued education and participation in training programs
