MAIN OBJECTIVE
- Increase representation partnerships with manufacturers to effectively distribute product brands and product lines
- Foster strategic collaboration opportunities with manufacturers within the company’s industrial segments / markets
- Technical and disciplinary management of the purchasing department
YOUR TASKS
- Structuring, optimization and digitization of purchasing process
- Support and management of all contract negotiations in the context of procurement
- Responsibility for inventory management
- Selection, qualification and development of suppliers and service providers
- Maintenance and further development of existing supplier and service provider relationships
- Ensure a powerful and flexible supplier and service provider portfolio
- Carrying out regular benchmarks and market analyses
- Participation in the definition of goals for purchasing and their implementation
- Conducting supplier assessments
- Controlling / Development of purchasing controlling, meaning KPI and implementation of appropriate measures together with controlling
YOUR SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Have completed a minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with strong business knowledge
- Minimum 7 years experience in technical purchasing
- You have professional experience as a purchasing team leader, purchasing manager or similar, ideally in a manufacturing company with small to medium quantities
- MS Office and SAP are no strangers to you
- You have excellent written and spoken English skills
