Period of Performance: TBD upon award

Start Date: Work anticipated mid-December 2024 upon the award.

Additional: 8-12 years of related experience within a DoD environment.

Salary: TBD upon award (provided is an estimated salary range)

Clearance Requirement: Must have a minimum of active/ no restrictions "Secret Security Clearance".

Preference: Master’s degree or above in a related field.

Job Description

The Ravens Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience supporting mission-critical operations within the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO). This is a full-time position at APG/ Aberdeen, MD with work that becomes available in mid-December 2024 upon award. Express your interest, today as we are now interviewing

What You'll Be Doing

  • The senior electrical engineer’s responsibilities include analyzing existing electrical systems and making cost-effective improvements. 
  • Conducting research,
  • Designing testing methods,
  • Completing quality assurance,
  • Inspecting the equipment,
  • Running diagnostics,
  •  Training new hires.
  •  Projects to be completed on time and to specifications.
  • Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules.
  • Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
  • Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals, and expanding networks.
  • Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes.
  • Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.
  • Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
  • Analyzing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Assisting with recruitment, training, and onboarding.
  • Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.

  • Secret Clearance, required

Qualifications Required

  • 8-12 years of related experience within a DoD environment.
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Extensive practical experience.
  • Additional license or certification may be required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Practical experience with CAD software.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities.
