Job DescriptionJob Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a fire sprinkler install/ fitter for a company in Kent, WA. The employee will travel to locations between the surrounding areas based on job site need.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Report to various job sites, including both commercial and residential properties.

  • Install fire sprinkler systems according to order specifications and blueprints.

  • Ensure installations meet all relevant codes and standards.

  • Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation.

  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.

  • Occasionally assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.

  • Operate aerial lifts and other equipment as required for installations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be an experienced fitter

  • Warehouse experience is a plus, as some duties may involve warehouse tasks.

  • Experience with aerial lifts is beneficial.

  • Background check and drug screen are required

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

 

Certifications:

  • Valid driver's license is required.

 

Salary/Benefits:

  • $32 - $40+/hr depending on experience

  • Full-time position

  • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • Monday through Friday.
