Key Responsibilities:
- Operate guillotine cutting equipment, die cutting, and slitting machines to cut and trim printed materials with accuracy and efficiency.
- Review job tickets and specifications to ensure cuts meet exact client requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machinery runs smoothly.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures meticulously during operations.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to meet deadlines and manage workloads effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
For Guillotine Cutter:
- Experience operating guillotine cutters or similar cutting machinery in a print shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets and specifications accurately.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in print production.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
For Die Cutter/Slitter:
- Proven experience operating die cutting and slitting equipment in a print production setting.
- Proficiency in adjusting die cutting tools and slitting blades to achieve precise cuts.
- Strong understanding of material types and cutting requirements for different substrates.
- Familiarity with setup, alignment, and calibration for die cutting and slitting operations.
- High attention to detail to ensure all cuts are accurate and meet client specifications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with cutting and slitting equipment promptly.
