Our clinic is unique. PLAN focuses on the whole child, teaching in both discrete trials and the natural environment every day. From peer games, to art, to PE and yoga; PLAN is a dynamic work environment full of enthusiastic, enterprising employees. BCBAs work as a team, and have time every single day for collaboration, team meetings, unbillable work, and staff training.
We currently have two full time opening in our Frederick, Maryland clinic.
Our incredible RBT staff are well educated, eager to work with BCBAs.

A little more about us…
BCBA starting salary: $95,000-100,400 [dependent upon experience]
Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8:00 am-4pm OR Monday through Friday, 12:00am - 6:30pm

Requirements for BCBAs at PLAN:
● BCBA certification and Maryland State ABA License ( LBA)
● Leadership experience, both professionally and personally count
● Experience working directly with kids with ASD
( our favorite population of little humans)
● Knowledge and experience with FBAs and FAs ( problem behavior stands no chance at PLAN)
● The ability to complete assessments and write assessment reports from a template
● Knowledge and experience with various standard assessments such as the Vineland,
PDD-BI, VB-MAPP and the SRS
● Background in training others including staff in the field and others outside of the field
( public speaking is a plus too)
● Ability to collaborate with peers, parents and support staff ( our staff and parents are so
incredible)
● At least one year of experience working as a BCBA or BCaBA
● Ability to think outside the box, innovate and problem solve
● A desire to form positive relationships with parents and outside professionals (we can’t do
it without them)
● A strong desire to change lives, one program at a time
● An ability and willingness to be involved in implementation, modeling and client care

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions for children with developmental disabilities, including autism.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and support training and development initiatives.
- Lead public speaking engagements to educate families and staff on behavioral health strategies.
The PLAN center is a unique ABA program near downtown Frederick. Our whole-child and arts-integrated approach provides opportunities for both discrete trial AND group activities with social opportunities sprinkled throughout every day.
From the moment a child or teen walks in our door, they start working on independence and daily living skills. Our program alternates between 1:1 discrete trial training, where individual goals are targeted, and group activities, where skills are practiced in a natural and engaging way.
Our goal is to teach skills in a comfortable and stress-free environment, and then immediately practice the skills in a natural setting. The children have opportunities to interact, play and engage in group activities multiple times a day.
Additionally, PLAN targets school readiness skills and school behavior. PLAN provides daily opportunities to engage in activities like art, music, circle-time, centers, PE, yoga and obstacle courses. We also work on fine and gross motor skills as well as target sensory behavior and spatial awareness.
