Firefly Ambiance is a boutique event rental company specializing in event décor, furniture, scenic other event rentals located in Harvey, LA. We are looking for a part-time décor prep assistant to join our team.
This job entails reading pull sheets and selecting the rentals on an order-by-order basis. All items must be counted, cleaned, and prepped for the specific event to the client’s specific requests.
- Some heavy lifting may be required, but this is typically boxes under 25 lbs.
- Attention to detail is a must as this position mostly entails cleaning vases, lanterns, candleholders & candles.
- Occasional drapery steaming, furniture cleaning, and other duties as needed (such as organizing inventory once items come back from an event).
No experience is necessary.
- Part-Time to Full time (if wanted)
- Workdays are Tuesday – Friday with an occasional Monday from 10:00am-6:00pm or 8:00am-2:30/3:00pm.
- Somewhat flexible hours.
- Must be dependable, able to work together as part of a team or independently & attention to detail is a must.
- Pay will depend on experience
Bi-annual Bonuses based on performance
