Do you have experience in carpentry, crate building or packaging skills? Or want to learn? We are looking for people who take pride in their work and aim to produce quality products in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Build and assemble cases and other furniture products.
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on work orders.
  • Operating cutting equipment including; Circular saw, Cross cut saw, Panel saw, Band saw and Radial arm saw.
  • Utilize carpentry skills in the fabrication and assembly of wood container utilizing nail guns, staple guns and pneumatic screw guns.
  • Perform duties such as packaging, sorting and labeling operations.
  • Pack, skid, band, brace, cover, products.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly and operational condition.
  • Provides assistance to other production departments as needed (cross train).
  • Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules and reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Supervision.
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Follow GMi policies, core values, quality and safety guidelines.
  • Work company assigned hours for the position and additional hours if needed (regular and predictable attendance)
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED preferred. One to two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
