Position: Per Diem Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-Rays while ensuring the quality control of X-Ray equipment.
  • Practice ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to safeguard both the patient and yourself from excessive radiation exposure.
  • Provide compassionate care to patients, adhering to established protocols and work processes.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and accurately report patient history summaries, ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
  • Generate high-quality radiographs by following established standards and procedures, and carefully observe radiographic results, making necessary adjustments as required.
  • When needed, perform clerical duties during downtime.
  • Calibrate imaging equipment.
  • Maintain equipment.
  • Monitor radiology supplies.
  • Ensure correct radiation levels.
  • Keep x-ray rooms clean and tidy.

Job Details:

Salary: $40-$45 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 2-3 days a week
