Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAustin Staffing Inc. is hiring for several CNC Machinists for a contract-to-hire role in Round Rock, Texas.Schedule: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – ThursdayResponsibilities:· Set up, adjust, and operate all machining equipment to produce parts required to specified tolerances at an acceptable cost.· Accurately fabricate parts to specification on CNC machines and Lathes· Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.· Observe machine operation to detect any other malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust machine controls or control media as required.· Maintains a clean and safe working environment.· Must bring your own setup tools including calipers, edge finder, and an indicator.Specific Job Skills:· Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and determine dimensions and tolerances.· Must be able to communicate clearly when non-conformance is identified and corrective and preventive actions are needed.· Strong math skills.Requirements:· CNC Mill Machining: 2+years· Experience and willingness to perform numerous jobs within a Manufacturing Machine Shop. I.e. CNC, Lathe, Quality CMM, etc.· Analytical ability, interpersonal skills, dexterity, and ability to lift to 50 lbs.· CNC and/or CMM Programming is a plusPay: $25-$35 hr.
