Job DescriptionJob Description

The Innovation team at CompTIA develops new web based technologies for training, assessment and certification. We're looking for a long term contractor to write Cypress automation tests for us full-time, remote. Our team is shifting from the invention stages of various projects and moving into production. We have a UI designer, a data scientist, 5 software engineers and now we need YOU, a QA automator to ensure we're ready to go live with our systems.

Our systems are all browser based, with a React front end, C# .NET back end and SQL Server or Neo4J graph databases. We use Azure Dev Ops for git repositories, and build and deployment services. Your Cypress tests will execute with every build in the cloud and also be rune manually by team members as they develop new features.

You must be proficient with Cypress testing on local and cloud services with QA experience in both windows and mac clients. You should have experience with git source control. You will be expected to write and follow test plans and submit bug reports through JIRA.

This is a remote work, contract-only position. Your work schedule is entirely flexible, as you will have only a few coordination few meetings per week and bill us for hours worked.
