Responsibilities:

- Supervise and mentor a team of purchasing staff, setting goals and ensuring performance standards are met.

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to secure high-quality materials at the best possible prices.

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast purchasing needs.

- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

- Analyze market trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities or alternative sourcing options.

- Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and budgets.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Proficiency in [e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; Excel].

- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

- Knowledge of the electronics industry is a plus.

Nice-to-Haves:

- Certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager).

- Experience with international sourcing or managing global supply chains.

- Familiarity with lean inventory practices or sustainability initiatives.
