Field Millwright

JOB SUMMARY:

A part of the Field Service team, the millwright travels to customer locations around the country to perform a variety of service tasks, including preparing the site for machine installation and supporting team members in service tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform repairs, installation and preventive maintenance of equipment at customer sites throughout North America
• Complete required paperwork on time (e.g., service reports, discrepancy reports, expense reports, etc.) on a timely basis
• Achieve/maintain Customer Survey Satisfaction rating as established by the Service Manager
• Provide technical telephone support, as required.
• Conduct final product testing in house, as required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Robotics or Automation technologies or equivalent experience is preferred
• 3 years of related experience

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Experience with Plasma, Laser and Oxyfuel cutting process preferred
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines preferred
• Experienced with the proper handling and safety procedures while handling of 480VAC
• Experienced interpreting mechanical layout drawings, electrical schematics and bills of materials
• Familiar with the use of power and construction tools, such as: hammer drills, impact guns and cordless drills
• Strong oral communication skills
• Strong customer service skills, with a “customer first” mindset
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently

NOTE: This position requires 95-100% travel, frequently on short notice.
