Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for compassionate and reliable people to add to our team. We provide inclusive community engagement through helping our community members in need of all ages. Our main office is based in Two Harbors, however we offer services throughout the state of Minnesota. Our Direct Support Professionals will have responsibilities around the people we serve; this list of responsibilities includes but is not limited to;

  • Effectively use a Smartphone
  • Teach and/or assist in daily tasks in the person’s home;
    • General Cleaning – Light Housekeeping
    • Meal Prep: Purchasing and prepping groceries
    • Bathing and Dressing
    • Budgeting
    • Appointment Tracking and Time management
  • Accompany the People we Serve to their Events and Appointments
  • Support the individuals’ choices and interests
  • Personal Schedule Management as well as working with the People we serve and their Representatives.
  • Effective Communication with Management Team as well as Care Team
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of Care/Support Plans
  • Ensure that documents are current and compliant with current State and Federal Laws

Qualifications and Education Requirements **We offer paid training classes

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
  • Clear Background Check & Fingerprinting
  • First Aid, CPR Certifications **
  • AED Certificate or Training **
