We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and professional Fleet Manager to join our team. The Fleet Manager is responsible for providing oversight of our fleet of vehicles, including leadership and direction to Meals America Drivers. 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Supervise, mentor and drive staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.·       Fully responsible to driver scheduling and attendance policy adherence.·       Oversee fleet assets ensuring that all vehicles are maintained at peak operating performance, are clean internally and externally and are well maintained,·       Train new drivers on proper procedures, policies and technologies.·       Works with Warehouse Manager to review invoices and work orders to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.·       Responsible for route management for meal deliveries and ensure driver compliance
·       Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations.·       Responsible for staff scheduling and compliance with attendance policies and procedures.·       Establish one-on-one relationships with drivers to sustain and uphold Meals America team-oriented culture and performance expectations·       Responsible for Driver scheduling, time management and attendance·       Communicate with drivers electronically and via telephone to verify scheduling pick-up and delivery issues and to provide updates as needed.·       Work closely with dispatch team to ensure delivery standards are met for our participants and to streamline processes.·       Issues delivery instructions and provides routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated.·       Ensure company policies governing appropriate use of vehicles are met by all drivers.·       Participates in the hiring process for driver personnel.·        ·       Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

·       3-5 years of fleet or logistics leadership experience.·       Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
·       Ability to use technology such as cell phone, GPS tracking and other related equipment·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills and general computer knowledge·       Must be able to remain calm and composed when dealing with staff and leadership.·       Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.·       Proficiency with related software technologies and Microsoft Office Suite.
