Position Summary:
The Sprinkler Fitter will install, inspect, test, and repair fire sprinkler systems across various sites, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of interpreting blueprints and following specifications precisely.
Responsibilities:
• Install, assemble, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards.
• Perform inspections, system testing, and troubleshooting to ensure safety and functionality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and design specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and other trades on job sites.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear for all work locations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at job sites.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a sprinkler fitter or in a related role.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus.
• Certification: NICET certification or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, and on scaffolding.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions at outdoor job sites.
