Position Title: Swiss CNC Lead Operator

Wage: $30 per hour, plus 12% shift bonus

Shift: 2nd shift

Hours: Four 10-hour days or Five 8-hour days. Shift beginning at 4:00pm daily.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Swiss CNC Lead Operator to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting Swiss CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components. As a lead operator, you will oversee production processes, ensure adherence to quality standards, and mentor junior operators.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines according to engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes and improve product quality.
  • Train and mentor junior operators on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including work orders and quality inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating Swiss CNC machines.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and blueprints.
  • Proficient in using measuring tools and gauges.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of programming (G-code, M-code) is a plus.
