Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students. This role requires effective behavior management skills and the ability to provide academic advising to help students achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students, helping them navigate their educational paths.
  • Incorporate hands-on activities and real-world applications.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Facilitate group discussions and encourage critical thinking through subject matter.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and administration to support student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; higher education teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in areas such as Basic Math, Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Financial Literacy.
  • Experience in behavior management strategies within the classroom setting.
  • Proficiency in academic advising and the ability to guide students effectively.
  • Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is an advantage.
  • Ability to calculate data for assessments and analyze student performance metrics.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,924.00 - $68,660.00 per year (competitive pay)
