Location: Staunton, VA 24401

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks, ensuring reliable connectivity and optimal performance.
  2. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply corrective measures to minimize downtime and maintain system stability.
  3. Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, ensuring security and efficiency.
  4. Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement network security measures, including access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
  5. Conduct regular network assessments and upgrades, including hardware replacement and software updates, to maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  6. Document network configurations, maintenance activities, and protocols, ensuring accurate records for troubleshooting and future planning.

  • Cisco Routing and Switching Required 8Years
  • VLAN Management Required 5Years
  • Network Design Required 5Years
  • Access Control Lists Required 8Years
  • Subnetting Required 10Years
  • Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc) Required 8Years
  • Authentication (Radius, TACACS, etc) Required 5Years
  • FMC/Firepower Nice to have 5Years
  • Network Monitoring Required 5Years
  • Wireless Technologies Nice to have 3Years
  • DNS/DHCP Highly desired 5Years
  • STP, VTP, Multicast Required 5Years
  • Network Security Nice to have 8Years
  • VPN & Remote Access Technologies Required 5Years
