Autobody Painter/ Technician

Cook's Collision is a small family owned and operated business that has been serving the autobody needs of our customers for over 30 years. Our team is growing and is looking to add a full time autobody painter/ Bodyshop technician to our team. This position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 PM Starting at $22.00 Based off of experience.

Responsibilities :

* Work in our autobody shop restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with manufacture specifications.

*Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and filling imperfections.

*Ensure even coverage and proper adhesion of paint layers by following established procedures.

*Conduct color matching to achieve accurate matches with existing paint finishes

*Prepare Color tint to match paint color; Mix paint colors, and ensure all formulations, preparations, top coatings and curing meet OEM recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing, and material usage. 

* Maintain and clean paint equipment 

* Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while handling paints, chemicals, and equipment.

*Repair replace a variety of vehicle parts

*Perform diagnostic tests to ensure that all issues have been detected and resolved.

*Ability to utilize a wide variety of maintenance and repair tools. 

*ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.

*Maintain a clean work area.
