Tax Manager

DiMarco & Associates CPAs is hiring an experienced, client-focused, and passionate CPA to join our team and bring out the artistry in tax strategy and compliance. Our ideal Tax Manager will not only manage the workflow of tax preparers but will also engage directly with high-net-worth individuals and small business clients, providing expert tax strategies tailored to their needs.

This position requires a minimum of 55-hour work weeks for 10 weeks during tax season (Feb - Apr).

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage workflow assignments for the tax team, ensuring deadlines are met with precision and efficiency

·         Develop and implement tax strategies for high-end clients, optimizing tax outcomes while aligning with business and personal financial goals

·         Prepare and review complicated tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws

·         Serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, offering a proactive approach to tax planning and resolution of complex tax matters

·         Lead, mentor, and manage a team of tax preparers, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing within the team

Must Have:

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting

o   Masters of Science in Taxation preferred

·         CPA license and 10+ years of tax and public accounting experience

 You’re good at:

·         Collaborating with colleagues

·         Organizing and prioritizing tasks

·         Patiently assisting others and finding solutions

·         Clearly explaining options and best path forward to both colleagues and clients

 Nice to Have:

·         Experience in M&A

·         Familiarity with CCH Axcess

·         Good taste in music ☺

 We’ll offer you competitive pay and benefits:

·         $130,000- 150,000 salary based on experience

·         Performance bonuses

·         401k + employer match of 100% of contribution up to 4% of salary
