We seek individuals with strong experience at CNC Programmer/Set-up/Operator. Who can work well in a fast pace environment, and has the ability execute the precision required by our customers. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is well organized and pose the ability to complete tasks assigned by superiors with minimal supervision. Multi task different machines to make sure time lines are kept. The applicant must also have a strong understanding of CNC mill programmer, set-up and operator.

 

Required Skills

  • Machine tool and die sections according to drawings
  • Complete CNC mill machining task according to the customers plan and ensure the machining quality.
  • Responsible for maintenance of machines and tools, to keep the working environment in line with 5S standards.
  • Abilities to edit programs and adjust offsets as necessary to produce parts to specification.
  • Use a crane(20T) to set up work pieces on the machine.
  • Follow all safety policies and guidelines.
  • Must be able to handle and operate all hand, pneumatic and other tools associated with the trade in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Preferred previous experience of CNC Mill(1.5/ 3/ 5 meters operation).
  • Experience with programming CAD/CAM software and 3D machining. NX experience is an asset.
  • Skilled operation with gantry CNC mill to complete large-scale die.
  • Knowledge of safety manufacturing management.
  • Knowledge of stamping die structure.
  • Knowledge of Die and machine tool operation.
  • Knowledge of reading 2D drawings and machining symbols GD&T
  • Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to remain standing for the duration of your shift.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
