IT Consultant Location: Indianapolis, IN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Consultant to join our growing IT Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive and detail-oriented background with excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Enjoys communicating with clients and peers on analyzing business / technical requirements to achieve business objectives

  • Effective at offering strategic advice on using technology to achieve business goals

  • Excels at managing IT initiatives and collaborating with in-house technical staff

  • Collaborate with teammates and peers to achieve best results for customer

  • Passionate to learn and leverage new technologies to better solve client challenges

About You:

  • Analytical approach to problem solving

  • Ability to design technology solutions that meet industry standards approach / best practices

  • Implement technical solutions following a disciplined approach

  • Understand how to properly maintain solutions that may already be in place

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    - Communicate at a level others understand - Present ideas in an unbiased manner
    - Build strong relationships with customers

  • Enjoy face to face customer and team engagement

  • Passion to learn more about emerging technology

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience working in large to enterprise level IT environments

  • 4+ years hands on experience with Microsoft Windows Server & VMware technologies

  • Certifications “nice to have” in the following areas:

    - MCSA
    - Microsoft Cloud Stack (Fundamental or advanced) - VCP
    - CCNP / CCNA
    - Security Certifications

  • Experience in systems / infrastructure administration or IT leadership role a plus

  • Passion for learning new technologies out of current comfort zone

  • Detail oriented with the ability to successfully multi-task
