Journeyman Carpenter

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced High-End Residential Carpenter to work on a variety of luxury residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fine woodworking, high-end finishes, and custom cabinetry. Your ability to interpret detailed architectural plans and create precise, high-quality woodwork will be essential. You’ll be working closely with interior designers, project managers, and other tradespeople to bring our client’s visions to life.

Responsibilities:

• Construct and install custom cabinetry, millwork, trim, doors, windows, and staircases.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret and execute design plans.
• Perform detailed work on luxury finishes, such as paneling, crown molding, and wainscoting.
• Install and repair high-end wood flooring, custom built-ins, and specialty furniture.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and precision.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Troubleshoot and solve challenges that arise on-site.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a professional carpenter, specializing in high-end residential work.
• Strong knowledge of wood species, finishes, and the latest carpentry techniques.
• Expertise in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with fine trim, moldings, custom cabinetry, and bespoke installations.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment (including hand and power tools).
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for precision craftsmanship.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and tools required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on luxury homes and estates.
• Carpentry-related certifications or apprenticeships.
• Familiarity with modern wood finishes and techniques.
• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly building practices.

Pay Rate Range;
$25.00 an hour to $35.00 an
