We are seeking an experienced High-End Residential Carpenter to work on a variety of luxury residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fine woodworking, high-end finishes, and custom cabinetry. Your ability to interpret detailed architectural plans and create precise, high-quality woodwork will be essential. You’ll be working closely with interior designers, project managers, and other tradespeople to bring our client’s visions to life.
Responsibilities:
- Construct and install custom cabinetry, millwork, trim, doors, windows, and staircases.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret and execute design plans.
- Perform detailed work on luxury finishes, such as paneling, crown molding, and wainscoting.
- Install and repair high-end wood flooring, custom built-ins, and specialty furniture.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and precision.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Troubleshoot and solve challenges that arise on-site.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a professional carpenter, specializing in high-end residential work.
- Strong knowledge of wood species, finishes, and the latest carpentry techniques.
- Expertise in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with fine trim, moldings, custom cabinetry, and bespoke installations.
- Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment (including hand and power tools).
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for precision craftsmanship.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and tools required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on luxury homes and estates.
- Carpentry-related certifications or apprenticeships.
- Familiarity with modern wood finishes and techniques.
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly building practices.
Pay Rate Range;
$25.00 an hour to $35.00 an
