Machine Department Manager, Programmer and Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage schedule and procedures of the Machine Department
- Program and operate CNC Machines to produce product from drawings, in accordance with established procedures, with limited supervision.
- Perform set-ups of various CNCs.
- Must be knowledgeable of G & M codes.
- Edit CNC programs for tool and / or design changes.
- Set up and operate manual lathe and mills.
- Knowledge on all measuring equipment.
- Edit and verify first article component run.
- Resolve and optimize variation of material removal rate.
- Operate all equipment in prudent and safe manner.
- Maintain a professional relationship with co-workers.
- Knowledge on machine tool preventative maintenance.
- Must work well with others.
- Must be willing to be cross trained to perform different functions.
- Insure quality procedures are followed throughout the department; insuring improved product quality, reduced scrap/rework rates, and continuous improvement which advances company quality policy.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Microsoft Office
Solidworks
FeatureCam
4 year of machining experience, technical school or vocational school training.
Plastics machining background a plus.
Motivated with follow-up skills.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Willing to work overtime on demand.
Lift 50lbs.
