Calibration Technician

What you will do as a Calibration Technician:
- Perform calibration, repair, and maintenance on a variety of measuring devices including electronic, torque, force, pressure, mass, and dimensional gages
- Calibrate dimensional, mechanical, and electronic instruments according to company standards and customer specifications
- Provide on-site calibration services, including travel to customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate calibration in the field
- Define calibration procedures and identify equipment requirements for both mechanical and electronic calibrations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot calibration issues, performing necessary repairs to maintain equipment functionality and precision
- Assist in cross-training across calibration types (mechanical, electronic, dimensional), expanding team capabilities and ensuring well-rounded expertise
- Train and mentor team members in calibration procedures and use of equipment to maintain high standards of performance and safety
- Strong aptitude in measuring devices (multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Mechanical calibration experience in areas like torque, pressure, force, mass, and scales
- Dimensional calibration experience including hard gaging, threads, CMM, optical comparators, and hand tools is preferred
