Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Manager to manage the maintenance department at our Phoenix manufacturing and distribution facility. This leadership role is critical in driving the maintenance operations toward optimal efficiency while contributing to the company's growth and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead and guide a team of maintenance professionals to ensure high performance, emphasizing safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Safety & Compliance:

  • Promote a safety-first mindset across all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all levels.
  • Regularly conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Asset Management & Maintenance Operations:

  • Oversee the upkeep of all manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and industry compliance.
  • Manage and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce operational downtime and maintenance costs.
Continuous Improvement:

  • Apply process improvement techniques to increase efficiency and reduce production costs, contributing to ongoing plant performance enhancements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Required Skills & Experience

Soft Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with the team.
  • Skilled in time management, multitasking, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to interpret and apply instructions or guidelines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within a food manufacturing or similar industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices, equipment troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards related to food safety and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven leadership experience and a track record of fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
