Swiss Screw Machinist

Position:

Set Up and Operator CNC Swiss Screw Machines on small to micro medical parts daily, following company policies and procedures while utilizing a high level of experience and good judgement.

• Experience required operating CNC Swiss Screw Machines preferable on Citizen Cincom machines.

* Setups required.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.

• Minimum 2 years experience on Swiss Screw Machines.

• Ability to properly utilize hand inspection tools (Mic’s & Calipers etc.)

Daily job duties include, but not limited to

• Operate jobs on CNC machines utilizing job travelers, setup sheets, and programs.

• Change and offset tools in machine throughout a run to maintain part dimensions and tolerances.

• Able to hold up to +/-.0002 tolerances as needed.

• Able to "dial in" part to meet print specifications.

• Measure and verify key features on parts. Prepare First Article Inspection Reports.

* Maintain blueprint dimensions and tolerances thru In-Process Inspection.

• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.

• Maintain equipment by following daily maintenance needs.

• Complete paperwork as required.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.

• Maintain a positive attitude and promote a team approach throughout the Department.
