Assistant Project Managers – (2 positions available) Itasca, IL

$65,000 - $70,000 annually + benefits, PTO, 401K, Hybrid

We are seeking two Assistant Project Managers with experience in construction and managing a variety of projects in size and scope.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between general contractors, superintendents, and field supervisors to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
  • Monitor product lead times and manage material procurement to prevent delays and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
  • Assist with all phases of construction projects, from planning and scheduling to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within specifications, and on budget.
  • Manage permits, licenses, and liens, facilitating effective communication between all parties and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring materials are ordered and delivered according to project schedules.
  • Provide regular status updates to customers, addressing concerns and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Discuss pricing adjustments and change orders with customers, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a project management or project assistant role within the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
