• We are seeking to fill a Full and part time Mammogram Technologist positions
• Technologist must be willing to travel to other Centrelake Imaging & Oncology locations for training
• Technologist will perform mammogram including but not limited to:
  • Positioning and instructing the patient, operates imaging equipment and determines the technical factors
  • Ensures correct marking/labeling of all images
  • Provides and confirms proper documentation of procedures requested/performed, patient history, etc. to assist in diagnosis

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs the setup and acquisition of prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures
• Educates patients/families regarding the procedure and/or treatment to be performed
• Obtains and verifies physician order
• Performs room cleanup
• Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements as indicated
• Demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot and notify appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance
• Ensures the efficient operation and workflow of the department by scheduling and re-evaluating workflow throughout the day
• Prepares and maintains accurate documentation
• Maintains accurate department data for reporting purposes

REQUIREMENTS

• CA License
• A.R.R.T Certificate
• Radiography training, FFD, with CRT licenses
• Current CRT license in Mammography'

Pay rate varies and is discussed at interview (Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour)
