ABOUT US:

Millennium Therapy is looking to add Full-Time Speech Language Pathologists to our interdisciplinary teams. Millennium Therapy is a patient focused, therapist owned, and therapist managed company that operates throughout Iowa providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings. The local home office provides quick support to our associates. Our therapy teams succeed through patient tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet the individualized goals of each patient. Assistance with CFY can usally be completed.

PAY:

$35-$40 Negotiable

HOURS:

30-40 Hours/Week Flexible

  • Algona, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting
  • Forest City, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting
  • Burlington, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting
  • Fort Madison, IA, Montrose, IA, and Ottumwa, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting
  • Ackley, IA and Iowa Falls, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Utilizes effective time management skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS:

  • Speech Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
  • Participates in the clinical team process.
  • Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
  • Involvement in clinical program development.
  • Supervises other licensed speech therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more speech language pathologists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
