Job DescriptionJob Description

As a CNC Production machinist/programmer, you will be supporting our metal parts manufacturing production environment to help make various metal components and assemblies for our customers.

We are looking for a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a a background in programming, set up and operating CNC Lathe and mill machines with Fanuc controls, as well as experience with tooling and metal materials. The successful candidate will be able to create CNC programs using Mastercam, read blueprints and drawings, inspect parts for accuracy, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Program and Operate machining tools including CNC Lathes and CNC Mills with FANUC control
  • Operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, saws, etc. as required to produce parts according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, update and modify CAD Drawings using AutoCAD, develop and edit CNC programs using MasterCam
  • Measure/validate machined parts’ dimensions using CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Supports our ISO 9001 Quality program for quality checks on finished parts
  • Assist team members with CNC program troubleshooting
  • Support company's production objectives and delivery schedules for machined parts
  • Perform maintenance on CNC machines
  • Make adjustments to the machine settings as necessary to ensure accuracy of production
