Summary:

We are seeking a full-time skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming using MasterCam, creating and editing cutter paths, setting up and operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and performing precision measurements. This role is responsible for producing high-quality parts according to customer specifications and requires a strong understanding of CNC technology and lean manufacturing principles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operate CNC machines to produce complex parts and components

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Conduct precision measurements using micrometers and other measuring instruments

- Perform electrical discharge machining (EDM) and other advanced manufacturing processes

- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete tasks

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and equipment

- Collaborate with other team members to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality

- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve productivity

- Weld components together as needed

Experience:

- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a related field

- Strong understanding of CNC technology and programming

- Experience with lathe machines and other CNC equipment

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and blueprints

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and materials

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) and other advanced manufacturing processes is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in CNC machining, including experience with Micrometer and Precision measuring instruments

- Familiarity with CAM programming and Electrical discharge machining

- Strong background in Manufacturing and Lean manufacturing principles

- Knowledge of Mastercam software is a plus

- Ability to read blueprints and work with CNC equipment efficiently

Language Ability:

Ability to read and write in English, with solid understanding of proper grammar usage, sentence structure with average (or above average) spelling skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
