Position:          Full-Time Teller

Job Overview:

A full-time Teller is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while performing a variety of financial transactions.  This role requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.  The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Provide exceptional customer service to customers in all interactions with customers

·       Promote and recommend products and services to meet customer needs.

·       Maintain a thorough understanding of all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

·       Uphold the institution’s values by always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

·       Handle confidential information discretely and maintain confidentiality at all times.

·       Assist with branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, ATM balancing, and branch security.

·       Accurately process a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, official checks, loan payments, stop payments, and holds.

·       Balance cash drawer daily, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are promptly resolved.

·       Additional duties may be assigned as needed, and specific responsibilities are subject to change.

Qualifications:

·       High school diploma or equivalent required.

·       Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20 pounds.

·       Previous banking or cash handling experience preferred.

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

·       Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to change.

·       Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
