About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to join our team in Augusta, ME. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and networks. Your responsibilities will include requirements gathering, system design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Systems Engineering & Requirements Gathering:
    • Elicit and document system requirements from stakeholders.
    • Develop system design documents and specifications.
    • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment.
  • IT RFPs and Contracts:
    • Participate in the creation and evaluation of IT Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
    • Review and negotiate IT contracts.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement and legal guidelines.
  • Systems Management & Operations:
    • Manage the daily operations of the systems management team.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
    • Implement and maintain system security measures.
    • Develop and execute disaster recovery plans.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of networking, distributed computing, and server/client programming.
    • Experience with system administration and maintenance.
    • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
