Banking Teller

Our client in Lawrenceville, GA is looking for a TELLER to join their team

Pay: $20-$23/hr

Location: Lawrenceville, GA - Fully in-office Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Process wires, fraud claims and CTR’s.
• Process a variety of banking transactions for both consumers and businesses such as but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, transfers, issuing cashier’s checks, inquiries, loan payments and CD and IRA transactions.
• Performs account maintenance and forwards supporting documents to Operations.
• Scans all new and closed certificates of deposits, checking, and savings accounts and performs account maintenance.
• Identify potential customers and refer to bank partners in other lines of business, maintaining established levels of qualified referrals.
• Act as an ambassador of the bank – smile and greet customers upon arrival in Bank, answer questions and resolve problems for customers concerning all services provided by the Bank; identify the problem, collect data, secure answers and report results to the inquiring party.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years banking and customer service experience
• Ability to count currency and balance cash drawer
• Previous experience working in a community bank is a plus
• College degree strongly preferred
• Ability to make personal connections, engage customers and always be courteous and professional in a team environment and proactively collaborates with others to help customers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
