Overview

ResolveSoft seeks an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to support the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) in delivering high-quality, innovative, and secure solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will lead the design, customization, and implementation of ServiceNow modules to meet the agency's operational and strategic needs, ensuring compliance with federal standards and ResolveSoft’s commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  1. Platform Development & Configuration:
    • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions tailored to FHFA's unique requirements.
    • Customize workflows, forms, user interfaces, and scripts using ServiceNow’s capabilities.
    • Create and maintain catalog items, portal configurations, and automation workflows.
  2. Integration & Interoperability:
    • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other middleware technologies.
    • Ensure seamless interoperability with existing FHFA systems while maintaining security and performance standards.
    • Develop an understanding of the existing application catalog and stack in order to effectively and successfully migrate selected solutions and processes to ServiceNow.
  3. Module Implementation:
    • Implement and enhance modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, or CSM based on FHFA's operational priorities.
    • Leverage the CMDB to optimize asset management and IT operations.
  4. Governance & Compliance:
    • Ensure all development aligns with FHFA’s security policies, quality, accessibility, and compliance requirements, and federal standards.
    • Adhere to ITIL, Agile, and DevSecOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with FHFA stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Provide regular updates and technical expertise during meetings and reviews.
  6. Maintenance & Optimization:
    • Monitor, maintain, and optimize ServiceNow platform performance and usability.
    • Manage related system upgrades and patches with minimal disruption to FHFA operations.
  7. Leadership & Mentorship:
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers as needed.
    • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
  • **Significant expertise (10+ years’ experience) with common and open-source software development language stacks like or scripting languages such as .Net, JavaScript, AngularJS, and HTML/CSS.
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Asset Management.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
  • Familiarity with federal IT governance, FISMA compliance, and security frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Application Developer Certification.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
  • Federal agency experience, preferably with FHFA or other financial regulatory organizations.
