Position Overview: Alpha Communications is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Outside Sales Representative with at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, intercom systems, commercial and multi-unit residential critical communications and alarms. This role requires travel to client locations to build and maintain relationships, provide on-site product demonstrations, and close sales deals.
Key Responsibilities:
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Tri-State area through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead-generation activities.
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate professionals, property managers, builders, and other key decision-makers.
● Conduct on-site visits and product demonstrations, showcasing our intercom, home security, alarm systems, and other technology solutions.
● Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that address their specific requirements.
● Negotiate contracts, close sales deals, and ensure both client and company satisfaction.
● Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, track sales activities, and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information.
● Keep abreast of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position Alpha Communications' solutions.
● Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support and customer service, to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and resolve any client issues. ● Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
● Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an outside sales role, preferably in technology, intercom systems, commercial and multi-unit residential critical communications and alarms.
● Strong understanding of the real estate market and the integration of communication and security solutions.
● Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and goals.
● Tech-savvy with the ability to understand, demonstrate, and explain technical products and solutions to a diverse audience.
● Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines and customer relationships.
● Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
● Ability to travel within the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT) to meet with clients as required.
● Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
