3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
2 to 3 nights per week, M-F
This position assists the Nutritional Services Cook in preparing and serving meals to hospital patients, guests and staff. Includes preparing patient trays, washing dishes, general cleaning and maintaining the nutritional services department. Maintains a “customer friendly” environment by treating all individuals with dignity, respect and concern for their wellbeing while carrying out assigned tasks. Functions as a team member with other employees both intradepartmental and interdepartmentally in order to meet the individual needs and expectations of each customer/family served.
Requirements
- Must be capable of communicating clearly (reading, writing and speaking) in the English Language. Must be capable of reading and comprehending written policies/procedures. Must have the ability to receive and relay phone or other business related messages.
- The employee is regularly required to walk, stand, stoop or bend. The employee must also be able to sit, talk, hear, see, taste and smell. The employee is frequently required to use hands and be able to reach and feel. Must be able to occasionally lift items up to 20 pounds.
